Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
ingredients:
1 ½ cups all purpose flour
½ cup white granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 whole egg
Pinch of salt
1 cup chocolate chips
½ tbsp cinnamon
½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp melted butter
Equipment:
Stand mixer with paddle attachment (optional)
Mixing bowl
Ice Cream Scoop
Sheet tray with parchment paper
Directions:
1.Add melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, egg, cinnamon and salt into
a mixer bowl and blend to combine, until smooth wet paste forms.
2. Add baking powder and flour (add flour 1 cup at a time) mix well until base dough forms
3. Add chocolate chips and mix again until thoroughly combined
4.Line sheet tray with parchment paper, and scoop cookie dough onto the parchment
paper, pressing the dough slightly with fingers to flatten.
5.Place in the refrigerator to chill for up to 10 minutes. Place in a preheated oven at 350
degrees until cookies are brown around the edges.
6. Remove cookies from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy.
Notes:
1. You can add nuts or other toppings to the cookie dough if you like.
2. You can use a stand mixer with a paddle attachment to make the dough, but it is not
necessary.
3. You can use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough, but you can also use a spoon or
your hands.
4. You can use a sheet tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to bake the
cookies.
5. You can use a preheated oven or a toaster oven to bake the cookies.
6. You can use a cooling rack or a plate to cool the cookies.
7. You can use a spatula or your hands to remove the cookies from the sheet tray.
8. You can use a cookie jar or a container to store the cookies.
